Real Wedding: Lara and Paul

Lara and Paul live in London and planned their wedding online and with the help of family and friends. They arrived in Cape Town 6 days before the wedding and managed to create a beautiful setting for their marriage vows and celebrations.

On the day of the wedding Lara got dressed at the beautiful private game reserve Clara Annafontein where lots of pre ceremony pictures were taken. The ceremony and reception took place at Pampoenkraal in the Durbanville wine valley

The day before the wedding Lara and Paul, together with their competent team of helpers went to set up the venue. From the onset they had decided to make the wedding their own with personal touches throughout. From cutting of flowers and fruit for the vases to wrapping ivy around the Chuppah to decorating the tables, this was all part of a days work.

These random detail pictures shows all the work Lara put into making the wedding as wonderful for the guests as well as themselves. Rumour has it that the carrot cake made by brides step mom was the most yummiest ever.

Congratulations Lara and Paul.

How lovely that Leigh herself described the details of their wedding! So touching to hear how family members all made the day extra special. Love the blue-toned bottles (so pretty!) and the biodegradable picnic bags as favors!

stunning! absolutely one of loveliest weddings ever. The wedding theme is great – and i bet it you enjoy your big day as much as possible, insteat of rushing from one table to another to speak with your guests.

“Our wedding day was a culmination of effort and love from friends and family. Resulting in a beautiful and special wedding day that we are so grateful for”
And i think this is the way it should be. Your families were with you for so many years, and in this important moment they should be near you – in every way.
Hugs to you and your families guys. I really wish you a happy life together.

    Such a perfect day!
I especially loved the cake topper.
I’m planning a picnic wedding too and wondered what you did with a few of the things I’ve been struggled with.
    – What did you do for blankets for your guests to sit on?
    – Your biodegradable bags are a great alternative to picnic baskets. Where did you order them from?
